Trimester Awards

Each trimester students are recognized for outstanding academic achievement, attendance, and physical fitness.  The following is a list of awards your child will be eligible to receive each Trimester.

Vista Scholar in ELA and Math (grades K-3)

Vista Citizen (grades K-3)

Honor Roll—ELA & Math (grades 4th-6th)

Principal’s Honor Roll—ELA and Math (grades 4-6th)

Three Bs Award (grades 4-6th)

100 Mile Club—Students receive a Club T-shirt At 25 miles and additional awards at 50, 75, and 100 miles

Student of Day

Students can be recognized daily for following the 3 B’s:

· Be Respectful

· Be Responsible

· Be Safe

Students caught following one of the 3 B’s may receive a nomination ticket for  “Student of the Day” from any staff member on campus.  Students get to bring one copy of the nomination home and place the other copy in the Treasure Chest in the office.  Then each day a name is drawn from the Treasure Chest and announced to the school over the Morning Announcements as the “Student of the Day”.  Each student of the day will receive a special prize and will have their picture posted in the office on the Wall of Fame.
